The Laser Operator is responsible for cutting and engraving wood products on our production lasers. You will work closely with our project manager to ensure accurate, efficient and timely production of a wide variety of custom projects. This is a fast paced, fun job that packs a lot of different activities into every day. Perfect for someone who has a knack for process and continuous improvement. To be successful in this role you need great attention to detail, ability to follow processes, a ferocious work ethic, and a relentless focus on delivering the highest quality work.
Owns the laser production schedule and is responsible for delivering projects on time.
Optimize laser run time through effective planning and time management.
Coordinates with the rest of the team to keep 8 production lasers operating at peak efficiency.
Able to execute unique job orders, different for every job, and produce consistent, high quality work.
Able to learn and consistently execute exact process steps and technical settings.
Keep the production schedule updated and accurate with laser output and other job information to keep our sales team and customers updated on job tracking
Partners with the project manager and the design team to plan and schedule jobs
Proactively identifies and communicates issues
Identifies opportunities for improvement and delivers innovative solutions
Minimize material and time waste through diligent attention to detail and focus
Must be devoted to upholding the highest standards of quality in all you do
Inform supervisor of issues which affect the companies’ ability to meet customer expectations
Willingness to learn everything about and love our lasers to keep them happy and in perfect working order
Must follow established safety guidelines
Desire to join a badass team making badass products
Dependable, rock solid performer who holds themselves to the highest standards
Drive to exceed expectations and continuously improve processes
Ability to lift and handle wood, metal and acrylic pieces up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods of time and be adaptable to a changing work environment
Must have a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn more about manufacturing processes and optimization

High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass mandatory background check.
Manufacturing or production experience
Experience with laser engraving equipment
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical training
Knowledge of woodworking
Competitive pay, bonuses, and paid time off. Hourly rates ranging from $16-$27/hour
